RediTop – Privacy Policy

RediTop (“the Extension”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a browser extension that adds a scroll-to-top button and optional keyboard shortcut to reddit.com. We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your information safe.

1. What information do we collect?

RediTop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
The extension operates entirely within your browser and:

• Reads only the current Reddit tab to insert the scroll-to-top button.
• Saves a single boolean setting (“enabled” / “disabled”) using Chrome’s 

storage.sync

, which is synced with your Google account if you have sync enabled.
• Opens an external feedback form only when you click Send Feedback.

2. How do we use your information?

The lone “enabled” setting is used solely to remember whether you have turned RediTop on or off. It is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Third-party services

RediTop does not use analytics, trackers, ads, or any third-party scripts. When you click Send Feedback, your browser navigates to a Google Forms URL; that form is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

4. Data security

Because we do not collect additional data, there is no personal data for us to secure. The extension’s minimal permission set (

) ensures it cannot access or transmit unrelated browsing information.

5. Children’s privacy

RediTop is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.
